The Islands Distrct consists of mostly the 20 South Western large and small islands. Population-wise it is only 2% but occurpies 16% of the Hong Kong area.
It covers the Hong Kong Airport, Tung Chung, the Lantau communities such as Discovery Bay, Mui Wo and other smaller islands like Ping Chau and Cheung Chau.
It is not surprising that many expacts love living at the Islands district. Lower density and accessible to the beaches and nature make it a very attractive options, compared to a city life.
