荷兰橡树叶片宽大肥厚，油黑绿亮，放于半日照的地方，但不宜过阴，否则会引起大量落叶。湿润的环境比较理想，而办公空气干燥时， 要经常向枝叶及四周环境喷水，以提高湿度。留意如果浇水太频，亦会导至落叶及转黄，经常转环境亦会落叶。
