荷蘭橡樹葉片寬大肥厚，油黑綠亮，放於半日照的地方，但不宜過陰，否則會引起大量落葉。濕潤的環境比較理想，而辦公空氣乾燥時， 要經常向枝葉及四周環境噴水，以提高濕度。留意如果澆水太頻，亦會導至落葉及轉黃，經常轉環境亦會落葉。
